Established in 1983 Alec Mill Electrical has grown over the years by diversification into various market sectors whilst recognising potential growth areas and the needs of our clients. Now trading as AME Services Ltd from our new offices in Rochdale, we directly employ over 40 staff from design engineers to qualified and experienced trades personnel operating across the UK.
Our flexible approach to our client’s requirements and a willingness to work openly with them has provided us with a reputation of being capable of delivering quality projects on time and within budget.

Health & Safety
AME recognises and accepts its responsibility as an employer to provide a safe and healthy workplace for all its employees as well as those of its clients. AME will take all steps within its power to meet this responsibility, paying particular attention to the provision and maintenance of site specific risk assessments and method statements along with the safe arrangements for use, handling, storage and transport of materials. AME will provide sufficient information, instruction, training and supervision to enable all employees to avoid hazards and contribute positively to their own health & safety at work.
AME will provide competent technical advice on all Health & Safety matters where necessary to assist line management in its task via the companies’ health and safety officer. AME will abide and comply with CDM regulations. Where AME are the principal contractor they will control, monitor and record health and safety issues. All AME employees are made aware of their own duties under section 7 of the Health and Safety at Work Act, to take care for their own safety and that of other workers and to co-operate with AME H&S policy so as to enable it to carry out its responsibilities successfully.
