Hazardous Area Installations

Ame Services understand that not all companies have their own in-house experts with the required expertise to understand and ensure compliance with the current DSEAR (The Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulation) and ATEX regulations. These regulations cover specifically areas where there is a danger from potentially explosive materials.

Some workplaces may even contain or have activities that produce, explosive or potentially explosive atmospheres which can be caused by flammable gases, mists or vapours or by combustible dusts.

We have experienced and highly trained "CompEx" certified engineers, electricians and technicians with expertise in "Hazardous Area" electrical installations, inspection & testing and maintenance of all aspects of hazardous areas as defined by BS EN 60079.

We have been Assessed and Certified by the NICEIC (National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contractors) as having the technical capability to carry out electrical work in areas where potentially explosive atmospheres may be expected to occur in the form of explosive gases, vapours or combustible dusts.
